Month of May .. Pristine season of Grace

Topic for this month of May ....

A pristine season of Grace....

Our lives are so rushed and we never stop ....and just be still.  We rush at work, we rush at home, do do do .... it is just never ending. At times we are not even aware that seasons are changing. In South Africa we are heading for winter; as we see the leaves on the trees are turning brown. In the UK and Italy it is summer as I see many are writing about their beautiful warm weather.  The seasons in our lives are also changing as we might be losing a loved one, going through a divorce, children might be moving out the house, a loved one diagnosed with an illness or a baby born in the family...

What I am saying is - as we are going through the seasons we need to stop .. breathe .. see .. feel .. smell .. experience .. the seasons of His Grace. Let us not miss out! God does not shelter us as we experience the different seasons but He keeps us strong and we can learn to embrace His seasons of Grace.  We can learn to see and apply His grace in everything we do daily.

So this month of May we will just explore the beautiful changing seasons in our lives, all filled with the awesome Grace of God. May He open our hearts as we try and find the beauty in our lives and we ask the beautiful Holy Spirit to prune our hearts according to the will of God.

01 May : A pristine season ... my roots deep in Jesus

Inward change takes place in the heart of a person as Jesus said in Mark 1:15 " You must change your hearts and minds and believe the good news".  We must not be the same as we were.   We need to ask the Holy Spirit to help us change, repent when we sin, forgive those we need to forgive, let go of the things we need to let go, don't look back, release those things we need to and move forward in His Grace.

An inward change of heart, the pristine season of grace .. we become new in Jesus. Grace changes the way we walk.  We should walk the way Jesus did.  1 John 2:6 "So that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God".

When I think of this new fresh season of grace in Jesus I stand with my feet in His Living Water, planting the roots of my life deep in Him and I grow strong branches so the fruit I will bear will be fruit of love, kindness, peace, joy, faith, gentleness and goodness.

God will always be with us no matter what.  God created us for Him and when our lives are extremely tough, that is when we can see the Glory of God the most.  So today let us pray for the grace of God in our children, our families, our work, our health, our finances and may we love others with His grace.

Father God, help us in our lives as we find new reasons to hold on to You and as we go through these seasonal changes may the Holy Spirit help us find pristine seasons in YOUR GRACE so we can show Your glory daily. Amen
